hw 9 part 1 question 2 number 3

I do not understand how to get the number of observed counts to put into rstudio because when i put the numbers given, and the list of hypothesized H0, it gave me a p value of 1 and i do not know if that is correct.

Hi sabrina,

It seems that the probability for the second argument was derived from the observed numbers.
However, the hypothesized probabilities are equal for all the categories.
Then, what would be the probabilities given the fact that we have six categories?

After you fix the code,  the value of test statistic from the RStudion output should be
the same as your hand calculated test statistic. (At least very close...)
Then, you can confidently use the p-value for your conclusion.

Let me know if you need further clarification.
If you can put your code, it would be more helpful for me to give you a comment.
