I don't really understand the Bayes rule and the total probability rule and when you use those?

We use those rules provides the ways find particular probabilities
when other probabilities are available to us.

Examples are:

Also, I have some class examples HERE.

When you are able to draw a tree diagram the total probability becomes quite accessible,
so that we don't need to think about the formula.
